Context of the Project
Nathan is an excellent musical artist however he was struggling to pull more viewership on his streaming channel - this led to us talking about ways to improve his online presence, including posting more frequently on his social media accounts with tailored content and what the most optimal times to do so were in order to capture a worldwide audience as he lives in the USA.
This led to the discussion of a promotional video to show his followers and post to his social media.
Problem to Solve
Nathan is a massive personality and he needed something that didn't overshadow that - Nothing flashy, something streamline, informative and able to showcase his musical talents. So after some back and forth we opted to go with a grayscale design with snappy transitions for punch.
Design Process
The design structure here was a little different to how I usually work, Nathan is a creative too and that means he has ideas that he wants to get across. We talked extensively about how he wanted the video to look as it was going to be a big splash but only once. That meant delivering on his expectations by producing something that had the punch he wanted but also demonstrated his voice in the best way:

A general layout was produced and signed off by Nathan
Images and video clips were cut, cropped and loaded into the design I had produced.
After selecting one of his songs I then beat-matched the transitions to the tempo of his song
Result
Nathan wanted a splash, but he got a tidal wave! The first day the results were incredible, so many engagements and interactions on his social media, as well as a massive uptick in his Twitch analytics:
28% increase in subscribers
31% increase in traffic to his Twitch account from his social media accounts
Over $410 in donations during his next stream
Through creative collaboration Nathan and I were able to produce a video that drove new subscribers to his platform and resulted in not only an influx of donations towards his talents but also an increased monthly income from his subscriber count.
